RusVPN provides a VPN client application and related backend services that let users sign in, retrieve a VPN configuration, and connect to RusVPN-managed servers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process to operate that service.

Scope

This policy applies to the RusVPN mobile clients and related backend services used for authentication, server inventory, profile generation, connection management, and Android release delivery.

Data We Process

• Account and authentication data such as your email address, account identifier, and auth tokens.
• Service configuration data such as selected server, generated VPN profile metadata, and app version details.
• Operational data such as profile generation timestamps, provisioning records, and technical diagnostics needed to run the service.

Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect

RusVPN is not designed to collect contacts, SMS, photos, microphone recordings, camera data, or precise device location for its core functionality.

How Data Is Used

• Authenticate users and provide access to RusVPN services.
• Generate and deliver per-user VPN configurations.
• Operate and maintain backend infrastructure and server inventory.
• Troubleshoot service issues and protect the service against abuse or unauthorized access.
• Deliver Android release metadata and update links when newer builds are available.

VPN Traffic

RusVPN creates a secure VPN tunnel between your device and a remote VPN endpoint. VPN traffic is handled to provide the VPN service itself. We do not use VPN traffic for advertising, traffic redirection, or hidden monetization.

Sharing and Retention

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data. Information may be shared only with service providers required to operate the service or when disclosure is required by law. We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect service data. Production deployments should use modern cryptography and HTTPS for communication between the apps and backend.

Your Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data. Contact us to exercise those rights or to ask questions about account deletion.

Children's Privacy

RusVPN is not intended for children.
